Frequently Asked Questions

I walked into the front of the building and can’t find Suite 106!

The easiest way to enter Suite 106 is by parking in the rear of the building and entering in the door on the back of the building with “106” above the doorway. As soon as you enter the foyer, The Wellness Est. will be located straight ahead in front of you. Go ahead and have a seat in the waiting room and someone will be with you shortly!

What is the best way to get in touch with the Wellness Est, or with my provider?

If you are an established client, the quickest (and most confidential) way to reach your provider is to send a message through your patient portal. The link can be found on the home page of this website. We ask that you please limit use of email communications as these can be subject to interference, compromising your personal health information.

If you are seeking care and are not an established client, please complete form located in the “Get Started” tab. Someone will respond to you within 72 business hours of your request. If you have not heard back in 72 business hours, please send an email to info@thewellnessest.com.

We do not currently have administrative support or front desk staff, so phone calls are the least preferred form of communication.

I sent my provider a patient portal message and have not heard back yet. Do I need to reach out via email or phone call?

Please remember, The Wellness Est. is not an emergency clinic. For established clients, the patient portal is the quickest and most effective route for communication with your provider. Please give up to 72 business hours for a response. Keep in mind, The Wellness Est. is open Monday through Thursday and closed Friday through Sunday. Please give up to 72 business hours for all prescription refill requests. If you are experiencing an emergency, please do not wait for a response- call 911, go to the nearest emergency room or behavioral health urgent care clinic.

Does The Wellness Est. currently provide talk therapy or psychological testing?

No, we do not currently provide these services. However, we will be more than happy to refer to a community of fantastic providers who do!

I am looking to get my child assessed for Autism. Is this something The Wellness Est. can do?

In short, the answer is no. However, as this can be a complex journey, often The Wellness Est. is a great place to start for an initial psychiatric assessment and evaluation where we can first assess for symptom management and then continue to get you connected to more specific psychological assessment and support resources in the community moving forward to help you build your team.

What are nutraceuticals?

Nutraceuticals are non-pharmacological options for symptom management including vitamins, minerals and herbal preparations. Often times, when we do not have the correct balance of vitamins and minerals in our bodies, we are not eating the right balance of foods or enough of these foods, or we are exposed to things like chronic stress and toxins, our bodies can be easily depleted for those building blocks required to make and process our feel-good chemicals. It can be difficult to know where to start with these- what is a reliable brand, what is the right dose, where do I purchase these? We can help!

What if my insurance is not listed on your website as in-network?

Ask anyway! Sometimes, certain insurance companies are willing to provide in-network exceptions if they have a limited network of mental health providers in the area. If The Wellness Est. is out of network with your insurance company, there is always the option to obtain a “super bill” for your service from your provider, which you can then submit to your insurance company to see if they would be willing to cover any portion of the service under the “out of network” benefits with your specific plan.

Do you take medicaid or medicare?

Unfortunately, at this time, we are not in network with medicaid or medicare.

Do you offer telehealth?

Absolutely! We typically prefer to conduct your initial appointment in person so we can get to know you and develop a good rapport. We totally understand the convenience of telehealth though, and for future follow-up appointments, are more than happy to offer that as an option! If you prefer appointments in person, we would also be more than happy to see your smiling face ;)

What if I am curious about alternative therapies for mental health treatment such as ketamine treatment, TMS/ECT, more in-depth nutritional/dietary support, etc?

Although we do not have providers currently who specialize in these therapies, we know a few who do and would love to provide you with referrals in the community for these services.
